Catalogue of Dayah Tanoh Abee Manuscripts

In the last July 2010, the book "Katalog Naskah Dayah Tanoh Abee, Aceh Besar" (Catalogue of Dayah Tanoh Abee, Aceh Besar Manuscripts)" has been published by Komunitas Bambu, in collaboration with the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS), Masyarakat Pernaskahan Nusantara (Manassa), Pusat Kajian Pendidikan dan Masyarakat (PKPM) Aceh, Pusat Pengkajian Islam dan Masyarakat (PPIM) Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta, and Zawiyah Tanoh Abee itself.

This catalogue includes 280 manuscripts or 367 texts, which are categorized according to the field as following:

a. Ilmu al-Quran (Quranic science), which is marked as IQ, including 7 texts;

b. Hadis (The Prophetic tradition), which is marked as Hd, including 14 texts;

c. Tafsir (Quranic Exegesis), which is marked as Tf, including 16 texts;

d. Tauhid (Theology), which is marked as Th, including 54 texts;

e. Fikih (Islamic Jurisprudence), which is marked as Fk, including 99 texts;

f. Tasawuf (Sufism), which is marked as Ts, including 55 texts;

g. Tatabahasa (Arabic Grammar), which is marked as TB, including 78 texts;

h. Logika (Logic), which is marked as Lg, including 4 texts;

i. Ushul Fikih (Fundamentals of the Fiqh), which is marked as UF, including 2 texts;

j. Sejarah (History), which is marked as Sj, including 10 texts;

k. Zikir dan Doa (Dhikr and Prayer), which is marked as ZD, including 17 texts;

l. Lain-lain (Miscellaneous), which is marked as LL, including 11 texts.
